I'm a Passionate Researcher
I am a Research Professor of Biochemistry at Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. I am presently the Director of Research and Strategic Partnerships at Bowen University, Nigeria. Also, I am the team leader of DrosophilaBowen research group in Bowen University. I have served as Acting Director of the Office of Research, Grants, and Linkages (2018-2022), Chairman of Adeleke University Ethical Research Committee (2021-2022) as well as acting Head of the Department of Biochemistry (2018-2021) at Adeleke University, Nigeria.
I am actively involved in life science research, especially in the niche of diabetes/obesity and phytomedicine. I have successfully supervised five Ph.D. and four MSc students and taught several courses in biochemistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I am a prolific writer with about fifty (50) publications and have participated in several national and international scientific conferences. I am also a member of some notable professional bodies and an alumnus of the Nobel laureates meeting in Medicine/ Physiology in Germany in 2011.
I have research collaboration (Academic Associate) with the Department of Life and Consumer Sciences, University of South Africa, South Africa.
