I am a Professor in the Biochemistry programme of Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. My research focuses on plant based medicine and metabolic diseases using different experimental models. I am also passionate about youth formation, development and leadership.

I am a Research Professor of Biochemistry in Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. Also, I am presently the Director of Research and Strategic Partnerships at Bowen University. I once served as Ag. Director of the Office of Research, Grants and Linkages (2018-2022) as well as Ag. Head of the Department of Biochemistry (2018-2021) in Adeleke University. I have research collaboration (Academic Associate) with the Department of Life and Consumer Sciences, University of South Africa, South Africa and also a Visiting Scientist to Helix Biogen Institute, Nigeria.
